An introduction to the thrills of rallying
Junior Driving Experience
Price: £70 per hour
When: Saturday's, Tuesday's and Wednesday's
At Langley Park Rally School, we believe in everyone being able to have a go, including the youngsters. From 8 years old, children can have a driving lesson. This experience will teach them basic driving skills in a safe environment. It is an excellent place to begin to learn car control skills without the other everyday hazards of the road which can then be transferred to the road when they turn 17 and get their provisional licence.
Your arrival at the rally school
On arrival, you will be met by staff and instructors. You and your spectators will be asked to sign on.
You will then have a short safety briefing from your instructor.
Your Driving Experience
You will then be strapped in to the seat of a rally car. You will drive our purpose built Ford Focus or one of our Peugeot 205's depending on how much driving you have done. The Focus is excellent for children who have not driven before. Your driving session will last for an hour; during which your instructor will give you tuition as you proceed around the purpose built junior track. You will learn how start and stop the car and how to steer and use the gears.
Once you are confident at driving, you can progress on to our junior rally experience.
When is this course available?
