An introduction to the thrills of rallying
Junior Rally Experience
Price: £100 per hour
When: Saturday's, Tuesday's and Wednesday's
At Langley Park Rally School, children from 8 years old can have a go at rally driving. The school caters for the occasional rally lesson and for those who want to make a career of rally driving.
Your arrival at the rally school
On arrival, you will be met by our staff and instructors. You and your spectators will then be asked to sign on.
Your instructor will then give you a short safety briefing.
Your Rally Experience
You will be fitted with a helmet and strapped in to the seat of a rally car. If you have not driven with us before, we will ask you to demonstrate your driving skills first before driving one of our rally cars. You will drive one of our Peugeot 205's. Your rally lesson will last for an hour; during which your instructor will give you tuition as you proceed around the purpose built junior track. You will be taught to drive on our gravel track negotiating the corners at high speed.
After you have finished, the instructor will fill out a score sheet to rate your performance in the rally car. If you come back for another session, you should bring your previous score sheet to compare your scores and see your improvement.
