WHAT IS LANGLEY PARK RALLY SCHOOL’S

MAIN FOCUS

At Langley Park Rally School, we believe in providing fun and safe driving experiences to a high standard for people of all ages. We have designed our latest courses for something to suit everyone and to be able to provide the best possible experience. Whether you’re a novice, or have experience in rallying, our experienced instructors can advise and teach you ways to improve upon your skills. We have a large premises in North Essex with great scenery and a full range of facilities, so why not pay us a visit?

Our driving experiences are available for anyone aged 8 years and up. So bring your friends, bring your family because you’re in for a fun-filled day with us. With a thrilling fleet of high spec rally cars, you’re going to be in for building up to high speeds and a lot of thrills.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT

OUR HISTORY

  • 1957 Tony Clark, purchased Langley Lawn Farm, Essex where he bought up his three children including LPRS owner Simon. 
  • Simon followed in his farming foot steps, his love of driving tractors encouraged him to take up the hobby of driving. As soon as he reached 17 he was competing in HotRods competitions in a Mini Cooper S and very soon after moved into rally cars. He started in a Mark II Escort RS 1800. He continued with many successes in rallying finishing in an Evo 8.
  • 1993 Son Tom was born
  • 2001 Simon wanted to diversify from the farming and as he had enjoyed and been so successful with rallying, he decided to set up his own rally school.
  • Started by teaching approx 10 members of the public per day rallying skills around a half mile gravel rally stage. 
  • Son Tom showed a keen interest and helped at the rally school where his passion for driving started a young age. 
  • 2007 aged 14 Tom started competing and immediately won all awards possible. 
  • 2008-2012 Tom continued competing including winning the Junior British Championship
  • 2013 Tom took more of an interest in the rally school and started to work in the workshop and on customer days
  • 2016 Building onto new longer stage 
  • 2017 New website and courses on new stage, addition of chicane 
  • 2018 Removal of portacabins and build of new wooden log cabins
  • 2020 Introduction of tractor driving 
  • 2020 Introduction of brand new junior dual controlled cars 
  • 2021 Addition of second larger jump 
  • 2022 Following completing the build of a customers MKII Escort Tom was able to contest the Irish Tarmac Championship and get back into competitive rallying 
  • 2023 Tom has stepped up to take over the rally school in conjunction with Tom Clark Motorsport to provide high class courses and one to one tuition.
